While other patients have a goal to lose over 100 pounds and may need to be on medication for a year or more. Generally, if you have less than 25 pounds to lose, you can expect about 3 months. If you want to lose about 40-50 pounds, you can expect about 6 months. If you want to lose more, then expect longer treatment times.
